Castaways Resort, Waiuku

I had a wonderful experience glamping in the Toi Toi tent with stunning ocean views. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable, making for a perfect getaway. However, the dining options left a bit to be desired, and while the restaurant was okay, it didn't match the quality I'd expect for the price. Overall, it was a great place to unwind and disconnect, but dining improvement would be beneficial.

I recently spent a weekend at the resort in celebration of our anniversary, and while the views were simply stunning, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The service was inconsistent and sometimes frustrating, especially during dining. However, there were a couple of standout staff members who truly made a difference and the spa facilities were a highlight for relaxation.

During my stay, I found the location to be truly breathtaking, offering stunning ocean views. However, while the coffee was delightful and the dog-friendly deck was a nice touch, the overall experience was overshadowed by significant issues in our room that detracted from the escape we were hoping for. It feels like the resort could be so much more with some attention to detail and maintenance, making it worth the higher price point.
